I’m a World War II reenactor/”living historian.”  I’m very active in WWII events in the Southeastern United States.  I’m a member of three different U.S. Army reenacting units, at the moment; my primary unit is the Old Hickory Association (which represents Company K, 120th Infantry Regiment, 30th Infantry Division, U.S. Army), my secondary unit is the First Allied Airborne Army (which represents: Company F, 325th Glider Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division, U.S. Army; Company H, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division, U.S. Army; Company C, Royal Ulster Rifles, 6th Airlanding Brigade, 6th Airborne Division, British Army), and my tertiary unit is the I&R Platoon (Headquarters Company, 16th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division, U.S. Army).

Most of our events are held in and around North Carolina, as it seems to be most central to all participants.  My primary and secondary units (OHA and FAAA) are both out of North Carolina, but my tertiary unit is out of the Northeastern U.S.; however, we have members as far south as Florida.  If you’re interested in joining any of these units or have any other questions, let me know and I’ll gladly help you where I can!

I own the jeep which was in the Thomasville parade with you guys. Great pictures. Thanks for posting them. I put a link to them on the 1st ID forum. Hope that was OK.

    Thanks, Russ
